1) April 28, 2000

        a) SARTAG performed a Search and Rescue Demonstration

        b) activated the Search and Rescue Tactical Action Group (SARTAG)

        c) inducted new members at the Philippine Coast Guard Headquarters in Manila

2) February 17, 2000 - sponsored a blood-letting project entitled "Dugo Mula Sa Puso" which was held at the PMI Colleges in Manila.

1) The 109th CGAS was awarded the Unit Citation Award for the year 1999. awardunit.jpg (1315 bytes)

2) The 109th PCGA Squadron Website was awarded the Eye Site Award and the Panache Award by the Krishir Collection Website.

3) The 109th PCGA Squadron Website is a "co-winner" for the People's Choice Award in the Government Category of the 1999 Philippine Web Awards.

4) October 8, 1999

a) launched the 109th PCGA Squadron Website

b) inducted new members at the Philippine Coast Guard Headquarters in Manila

5) September 18, 1999 - participated in the International Coastal Clean Up Day by cleaning the Manila Bay at Roxas Boulevard

6) August 1999 - conducted relief operations to people in Camiling, Tarlac who were affected by the floods brought about by continuous monsoon rains

7) 109th CGAS enlisted personnel as Side Boys and Flag Escort

a) June 23, 1999 - PCGA-NEG Induction at Traders Hotel

b) May 27, 1999 - 106th CGAS Induction of new members at Traders Hotel

c) March 12, 1999 - 2nd Induction of the 109th CGAS of 18 new members

d) March 11, 1999 - 106th CGAS Induction of new members at Traders Hotel
